Her post on the 6 key components of an Online Author Platform hit home.

Up ’til now, I’ve been blogging specifically about my writing process, with an occasional diversion to other topics. And although writing about writing is of interest to me, it’s not what I’m most passionate about. I’m most passionate about relationships, how they work and how they don’t.

I was trained in family therapy, so I weave in my observations of family life into my fiction. I was also a model and an actress, so I have a perspective on beauty and how the media shapes what we think, sometimes in ways that are self-destructive. That’s why I was pleased to write the guest post, The Body Beautiful on Paula Renaye’s website.

I’m also passionate about what’s happening in the world, our challenges regarding our need to save the environment, solve hunger, stop wars, and find a cure for cancer. Big topics, but there are so many of us in the world. Together, with common goals, much can happen, for the good.

Anyway, the long and short of it all, is that I plan to write more blogs on my passion, what matters to me besides the writing process. I hope you visit often.

As I see my Star Magnolia flowers come and go, I’m reminded again of the passage of time. So, in thinking of all the writing I still want to do,…

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false
_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[88,86,4
53,52,19,97,98,8,33
post-428","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-life","category-therapy-2","category-writing","tag-beauty","tag-blog","tag-fiction","tag-jane-friedman","tag-paula-renaye","tag-write","tag-writer
Today, I read about an interesting court case in the USA.
