<\/a><\/p>\nThere’s something about that old story, the one about the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow that puts a smile on your face.\u00a0 And whether it’s sickness you hope will disappear like raindrops on the pavement or whether, for a writer, it’s hearing an agent or publisher wants your story–a rainbow leaves behind that kind of hope. Its spectrum of vivid colors conveys every possibility.<\/p>\n
My rainbow showed up the day we heard Osama Bin Laden was killed, Canada got a majority government (for better or for worse), and the American president got a well deserved and overdue pat on the back.<\/p>\n
