Filming the Salton Sea is an ambitious undertaking but the talent involved is exceptional. Each member of the film crew is driven by their passion and commitment to making an indie film with high production values.<\/p>\n

Our grandson, Michael Stevantoni<\/strong>, is one of these talents and the director of this feature. He’s proven his abilities time and again with the various awards he\u2019s won at festivals for the short films he\u2019s directed.<\/p>\n

\"saltonMichael\u2019s now 20, a film student at Dodge College, Chapman University, in California, USA. SALTON SEA is his first feature film, to be shot this summer in the California desert. He\u2019s written a fabulous script, adapted from some short stories by George McCormick, and compiled a talented film crew.<\/p>\n

Europeans and Canadians support their artists, but in the USA, you have to scratch at whatever you can to realize your artistic dreams.<\/p>\n

I am beyond excited for him and the other talent involved. They are all working hard to make this film come to fruition.<\/p>\n
