Our grandson, Michael Stevantoni, who’s been making films since he was six, is now in second year university, at Dodge College, Chapman University, Orange CA.<\/p>\n

There,\u00a0he directed a short film, about five minutes long, called Eduardo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It was shot on\u00a08 mm film (not digital) and is in Spanish with sub-titles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kodak Film Challenge<\/h3>\n

After it was completed, he found out that Kodak was having a film contest encouraging filmmakers to make short Super 8 films and compete for a money prize as well as a chance to be in the Slamdance Film Festival.<\/p>\n

The first part of the competition is a popularity contest, so he needs your vote.<\/h3>\n

As you can appreciate, the competition is fierce. There are over 500 entries.<\/p>\n

15 films, the ones who get the most votes, will move on to the final part of the competition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The winner will be decided by a jury.<\/p>\n

If he’s successful in this Kodak Film Challenge, he would use the money to help fund a feature film he’s been writing.<\/p>\n
