I queried an agent two days ago, thinking my submission was as polished as it could be, until I re-visited it. I was appalled to find a glaring error in the first paragraph. Writing isn’t for sissies. Your own mistakes keep hitting you in the face. I guess that’s where good editors are worth their weight in gold.
