Later, as the community pool is closed for renovations, I’ll exercise my pulled hamstring in a hotel pool that reminds me of the novel I’m pitching. On the tiled walls around the swimming area are painted Orca whales, dolphins, sharks, Greek columns and statues underwater. It’s curious that I came to this place while editing my book.
